SWORDFISHING

Swordfishing in the Cayman Islands can be such a unique experience. In most places, to get to waters deep enough to find swordfish, you have to travel several miles. In Cayman, we have swordfishing grounds 1-2 miles offshore.

Becoming increasingly popular amongst Caymanian fishermen. We use different slightly techniques from those used in the gulf steam, using less weight as we have much less current. Constantly working to refine our swordfishing techniques, we throughly enjoy it when we do catch these mud monsters.
